Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 for prestigious George Mason University located in Fairfax, VA to oversee all things food-related in the IKE's Dining Hall.
The Executive Chef will lead a culinary team of 85 employees, create innovative menus with diverse cuisines, and have a passion for excellence.
George Mason University is Virginia's largest public research university.
There are typically more than 37,000 students on campus which they feel creates an organically diverse environment.
The campus is approximately 20 miles from Washington, DC.

The successful candidate will:
be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/orhave working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Position
Summary:
Provides culinary leadership within a large sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.
Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.
Key DutiesImplements & coordinates the culinary function.
Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
Manages catering & retail areas.
Customer & Client satisfaction.
Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
Manages food & physical safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience - 3 yearsBasic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
