CGI is seeking an experienced director with a broad strategic perspective and demonstrated performance leading a Sector's business growth activities in developing, implementing and delivering logistics, information technology (IT), and digital transformation solutions for the USMC and US Navy clients. Your future duties and
Responsibilities:
o Establish and build strong relationships with USMC and USN clients in order to better understand and proactively respond to their needs, promote CGI full services offerings and help clients meet their strategic and tactical goals. o Serve as a trusted client thought leader and business partner in advocating for client needs, supporting their capability and mission requirements, translating client requirements into a new business pipeline, and developing solution strengths and discriminators that are vetted at external/public appearances at trade association, think tank, or client facing meetings, events, and conferences. Lead position and white paper development. . o Work in partnership with CGI Business Units (BU) business development (BD) leads, capture/opportunity pursuit leads, and proposal managers to develop and implement detailed win strategies and tactics, holding primary responsibility for the pre-RFP capture/marketing effort and negotiations with internal and external teammates. o Respond to request for information (RFI), RFPs (requests for proposals) or other sources sought requests, coordinating the requisite resources and capture strategy needed for a winning response to ensure the right message is conveyed for the proposal, and in consideration of CGI Federal's win strategy. o Assist sector VP with attracting, building, developing, and mentoring talent, to ensure sector teams drive innovation and foster collaboration. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
o Retired USN or USMC officer who has holistic background in logistics, program management, and national security assignments, both CONUS and OCONUS. o 10
years project management experience working on classified programs, with at least 4 years serving successfully as a PM with responsibilities including managing staff/talent, quality of deliverables, budget (P&L) management, and engagement/reporting/communications to various DOD stakeholders in the USN, USMC, Joint Staff, COCOMs, or Intelligence Community. o A verifiable track record of winning business with 3
years' experience as a Capture Director or Opportunity Pursuit Lead (OPL) leading 5
pursuits worth more than $20M each. o Experience working on IDIQs, Task Orders, OTAs, GSA GWAC contract types, and commercial sales. o Ability to constructively influence and interact at the highest levels of the company and in USN or USMC customer commands. o Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management, with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators. o Prior consulting, contracts, or systems integrator experience in a DOD sector, division, or business area that both prime and subcontract programs. o Attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, client facing and client relationship building skills. o Based in either Arlington, VA or Fairfax, VA to provide an ability to travel regularly to different client sites in the Washington DC Metro region. o Other CONUS travel up to 50 % of the time each month. o Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship and TS/SCI is required. o Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field o Formal Business Development or Capture Training/Certification Personal Characteristics o Strong, proactive leadership capabilities. o Results-oriented with a strong record of accomplishment delivering for their team. o Patience and people skills to achieve effective progress, anticipate problems, and keep project and pursuit activities moving forward. o Attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, client facing and client relationship building skills.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
