Compliance and Controls Sr. Manager

ECS is seeking a Compliance and Controls Sr.
Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Job Description:
The Compliance and Controls Senior Manager will be responsible for managing all ECS's SOX and government business system internal controls as part of ECS Controllership.
This role will work with Corporate teams to assess risk in their business areas, and redesign processes and controls to best minimize this risk.
Specifically, they will be responsible for a program of policies and controls that document how ECS is compliant with the internal controls requirements of Sarbanes Oxley and the Federal governments requirements for contractor business systems.
The ideal candidate will have managed an internal controls team previously, have deep government contracting knowledge, and be a strong planner.
This person will see the process through to manage the annual financial audit and government audits as necessary.
Required Skills:
Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting At least 7 years' experience in Corporate Finance Experience working for or consulting a large, public company At least 3 years of management experience, running a team or organization Excellent communication skills Project management experience Previously managed SOX controls including tests of design and effectiveness Subject matter expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulation and associated DFARs business system requirements Working knowledge of Federal Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) Desired Skills:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
