We are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join our growing company. This position will support the rapidly expanding Fed/Civ business unit reporting to the FP&A business unit manager. The successful candidate will have excellent finance acumen and proven leadership skill to build strong relationships with business unit executives, program managers and corporate department leads. Responsibilities Lead team of FP&A analysts providing guidance, training and mentorship Produce timely and accurate financial reporting deliverables including business unit P&L, program trend analysis, variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts and monthly reporting for executive management Manage the business unit's monthly rolling forecast and annual operating budgeting activities Provide value-add analysis of key program drivers, risks and opportunities Make recommendations for process improvement and identify areas needing corrective action to achieve financial goals Provide data and analysis to support business unit operational reviews Manage the business unit's month end close process including cost accruals, revenue recognition and expense reviews Support internal and external audit activities Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and other corporate back-office departments to facilitate business unit operations Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline with 12
years (or commensurate experience) 12
years in Finance role demonstrating career progression with increased responsibility and scope Government Contracting experience; Knowledgeable with principles of CAS, FAR and GAAP Experience developing financial planning and analysis cadence, culture and standardization Advanced Excel user including pivot tables, complex formulas and modeling Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay complex information concisely Must be a self-motivated, energetic, critical thinker that is able to work with diverse team. Desired Qualifications Experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting system Working knowledge of TM1 Forecasting software and Cognos Reporting Experience with large scale Cost type contracts Experience with data analytics and visualization.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
