Job Description:
ECS is looking to hire an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team.
This role will support the General Ledger team in its monthly activities focused on month-end close and financial reporting.
They will own a portfolio of reconciliations and processes direct cost related entry.
This candidate will be working with the project accounting team and will be booking the accrual entries and provide the needed analysis every month.
The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow with the company.
They will be motivated to optimize every process they touch and partner with stakeholders up and down stream.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
5
years of experience in accounting or public company auditing.
Advanced Microsoft excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, charts, etc.
) Knowledge of US GAAP, FAR, SOX and internal controls.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Costpoint 8+.
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to lead initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience in corporate accounting for large (>$500M), public government contractors.
CPA license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
