Mechanical Engineer Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Engineer you will play an integral part within our client's Information Technology Department.
This position will be hands-on, and require some analysis work.
Specific duties in this role include:
Subject matter expert for mechanical design and analysis Perform trade studies and analysis of structures to ensure mission performance requirements are met Assess program design and viability from a technical perspective Manage a team of engineers across several projects Collaborate in multi-disciplined team environment to solve complex problems Support technology roadmaps Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Mechanical Engineer RequirementsSpecific requirements for this position include:
Minimum of 7
years practical software development experience Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering Familiarity with applicable aerospace industry practices Mil, NASA, ESA, AIAA, ASME, etc Ability to perform and lead trade studies to optimize technical performance Background with hands-on work Proficiency CAD and/or SolidWorks Familiarity with Impact Analyst and Concept of Operations Strong organization, documentation, and prioritization skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization Apply now CFS Technology is the only Bethesda based, IT dedicated search practice.
