AWS Cloud Engineer
Responsibilities:
Peraton is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer for a new role based out of Fairfax, VA.
For this position we are looking for an engineer with hands-on AWS/Terraform/CloudFormation experience who can come and hit the ground running from the day one to develop and support Mission Critical applications in support of the Intelligence Community.
What you'll do:
Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications.
Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications8 years of experience with a BS, or 6 years with MS, or 3 years with PhD.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required.
4 years hands on AWS experience (tools such as SNS/SQS, Lambda, VPC, S3, etc.
).
Familiarity automating AWS infrastructure (Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.
).
Experience working in an Agile environment.

Colorado Salary Minimum:
$87,089.
60 Colorado Salary Maximum:
$186,180.
80 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
