Medical Receptionist for Plastic Surgery Practice
Quick Apply Full-time 5 days ago Full Job Description Medical Receptionist for Busy Cosmetic Surgery Practice The Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute, one of the busiest plastic surgery practices in the DC Metropolitan area, is seeking a receptionist to handle a busy front office and assist with various administrative duties.
This position will be for our MedSpa and Surgery Center located in Fairfax, Virginia.
We believe that our front desk staff is extremely important as they provide the first point of contact and impression for our patients.
A successful candidate will be able to juggle multiple duties while remaining calm and providing excellent customer service.
Job Duties Include:
Answering multiple phone lines and screening incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Greeting and checking in patients and ensuring that they are comfortable in the waiting area.
Managing and oversee the direction and flow of patients to ensure the daily schedule runs efficiently and on time.
Ensuring patient information is updated and complete in EMR (electronic medical record) Keeping the front reception area organized, clean, and well stocked.
Checking out patients and processing payments Disbursing mail and packages Assisting in confirming patient appointments Ordering brochures and office supplies to ensure the office is properly stocked.
Assisting the nurses in stocking exam and procedure rooms Job Requirements:
High attention to detail and accuracy, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines without supervision.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Excellent customer service skills.
Fluency in Spanish or Arabic is preferred but not required.
Flexibility to work some evening and Saturday hours when necessary.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must Desire and ability help maintain a pleasant, team oriented atmosphere.
Prior experience working in a plastic surgery office is a plus, but is not a requirement.
Will train the right candidate.
Must maintain a professional appearance and grooming at all times Education:
Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred Ability to provide 3 professional references A background check will be completed Benefits Include:
