Office Engineers for Gannett Fleming to work at our Fairfax, VA loc.
May telecommute 2-3 days a week.
Update data in PROCORE through direct input of contract-related info or uploading other data.
Provide proj staff w/ guidance on PROCORE.
Assist w/ contract close-out
secure contractor-prepped tech'l docs for WMATA's project record docs, incl as-built plans, drawings,
schematics.
Assist w/ prep of proj status reports to ID progress
monitor proj sched, budget,
staffing.
Maintain contract files
proj logs incl Contractor-Client correspondence, Contractor invoices
progress payments, contract changes
claims, time sheets
O/T,
cost est for changes to contract work.
Monitor
maintain contract logs w/ dist of docs between Contractor
WMATA staff for compliance w/ contract time commitments.
Coord coll of insp reports
record lost time for Contractors; reconcile lost time w/ reports from Contractors.
Coord progress meetings w/ Contractor, WMATA staff,
tech'l consultants, prep mtg agendas, record meeting mins,
follow up on action items.
Coord review of invoices
progress payments, prep payment packages for payment auth,
monitor compliance w/ Davis-Bacon wages.
Support staff w/ coll of contract data
documentation to resolve contract changes
claims.
Other duties assigned by WMATA's Proj Mgr +/or Task Mgr.
Little domestic travel may be involved.
May undergo background checks incl drug screen and MV check.
Must have Bach in Civil engineering or rel field and 2 yrs rel engineering project experience or Master's in Civil engineering or rel field and 1 yr rel engineering project experience.
Also reqs following skills (6 mos exp) in:
MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
