Responsibilities Technical
Responsibilities:
Roles and responsibilities will be dependent on experience level.
Provide technical leadership and/or support in the following:
A diverse range of coastal planning and engineering projects for federal, state, and municipal clients Multi-disciplinary projects that include both coastal, riverine, and water quality elements Development and/or review of complex numerical models Report, factsheet, and presentation development for non-technical and technical audiences Mentoring and training junior staff Required Skills & Required Experience Minimum
Qualifications:
BA, M.
S.
or Ph.
D.
in coastal, ocean or marine engineering or sciences, or related field with demonstrated expertise Experienced in using numerical models such as ADCIRC, DELFT3D, XBEACH, CSHORE, MIKE 21, SWAN, WHAFIS, BOUSS-2D, EFDC At least 5 years of practical experience Proficiency in GIS Candidate must have exceptional writing and communication skills Desired Skills:
Flood hazard modeling and statistical analyses Modeling coastal systems to support design and evaluation of flood risk reduction projects Modeling and/or evaluation of hazards and projects in the context of resiliency and climate change Water quality modeling Experience with design and modeling of nature-based solutions such as marsh restoration and living shorelines Coastal processes and shoreline change analysis Knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) P.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
