A canine training apprentice who is to be responsible for providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all MVPR guests.
This includes cleaning housing, feeding, medication administration, addressing minimal grooming requests, and ensuring all MVPR guests individual and/or playgroup interactions meet the established experience expectation.
Primary Responsibilities Outlined:
? Interact with MVPR guests individually and/or in playgroups using appropriate toys and tools to ensure safe levels of play and minimizing stress levels.
? Oversee level of play by following handling management and training skills provided by Training Specialist and/or Training Specialist Lead.
? Visually observe MVPR guests at all times, equally distribute attention, and monitor for any physical and/or health changes.
Report any concerns immediately to the direct supervisor.
? Utilize proper introduction, praise, and correctional methods using established MVPR methods.
? Demonstrate ability to identify all MVPR guests individually and/or in group settings.
If not, can effectively request assistance from other teammates or management.
? Ensure that all team members interacting with guests have knowledge of their identity, flag any guests with special needs and alert the direct supervisor regarding any unusual behaviors or concerns observed.
? Notate (within practice software) daily log of guest demeanor, physical health, behavioral, and miscellaneous visit details for Resort Training Specialist or Resort Assistant Manager to review prior to sending to owners.
? Complete guest incident reports efficiently as needed.
Any incident which requires clarity prior to report completion can be addressed through the direct supervisor.
? Complete general cleaning duties including pet waste disposal, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting all objects utilized by guests, laundering bedding, and trash/recycling removal.
? Client interaction at guest arrival and departure.
? Assisting guest services with tasks including answering incoming calls, payment processing, and scheduling reservations.
