Contributions Serves as a Database and Database Process Design and Coding Technical Specialist.
Develops or modifies procedures to solve complex database design problems, including performance, scalability, security, and integration issues.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents complex databases.
Works at a high technical level of all phases of database engineering activities.
Designs Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) routines including:
entity resolution, data de-duplication, metadata extraction, and data augmentation.
Processes geospatial data - encoding raw data into metadata.
Technical expertise in coding and logic specifications.
Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the art technical or industry knowledge.
Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Performs design evaluations and develops program plans, implementation, and business strategy.
Compiles data from multiple sources.
Experience executing in an Agile, DevSecOps environment highly desired.
Experience in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCS) and open source database and system implementations required.
Qualifications 7
years of experience in database design and coding with big data.
Experience in ETL development, implementation, and automation Experience using Agile and DevSecOps methods and techniques desired.
Experience with Cloud-based and open source database and solution implementation required Must have, or be eligible to obtain, Government security clearance minimally at the Public Trust level Must meet U.
S.
residency requirements A Bachelor's Degree is required.
A combination of experience and education exceeding the degree/education requirement may be considered based on demonstrated experience and certification(s).
