Position SummarySystem Engineer II will provide Tier 1 and 2 IT engineering support to OrthoVirginia's network/infrastructure statewide.
This individual is responsible for maintaining on-premises and cloud applications, servers, storage, and network equipment.
This position reports to the Director of Information Technology and will be part of a team tasked with planning, installing, configuring, and managing all aspects of OrthoVirginia's IT infrastructure.
Primary Functions Accountabilities Perform network management to include controlling, planning, allocating, deploying, coordinating, and monitoring the resources necessary for proper network operations, maintenance, and services for the network architecture.
Coordinate with other contractors or vendor personnel to promptly resolve issues, questions, and problems.
Provide expertise in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting communication infrastructure, equipment, systems, procedures, etc.
Provide expertise in the current network topologies, protocols equipment and utilizes state-of-the art network management tools for monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and reporting system performance data.
Responsible for resolving service problems; performing expert maintenance; and installing configuring and testing all types of data communications equipment.
Troubleshoots network hardware using test instruments and diagnostic programs.
Maintains data network equipment and services to ensure working order and demand availability by performing scheduled, routine on-line tests and by checking, adjusting, or replacing equipment to establish standards.
Provide Tier II Engineering IT support to include areas of core functionality:
Active Directory VMWare vCenter, VSAN, and ESX Citrix Meraki Office 365/Azure Lead and execute small to medium/large projects supporting short and long-term initiatives for OrthoVirginia's IT infrastructure and operations Work together with the desktop support team, security team, engineering team, and project teams on an as needed basis to collaborate and resolve OV issues and initiatives Be available for work evenings and weekend to support escalated issues, project execution and rotating on-call supportKnowledge, Skills Abilities Microsoft, VMWare, certifications required Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail Strong technical skills Ability to plan and keep a project schedule Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all levels within the organization Position Requirements Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 7 to 10 years' experience as an IT professional preferred IT experience in a HealthCare field preferred Must be able to work rotating on-call schedule Must be willing to go to local office locations for tasks and/or troubleshooting as needed Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
