Registered Nurse (RN) System Float Pool Labor and Delivery
Job DescriptionInova Health Systems is seeking flexible, experienced, highly skilled nurses to join our system wide float pool, Inova Staffing Solutions.
RNs must have a minimum of three years' experience in Labor and Delivery and must be willing to be assigned to any of our four hospital locations with Labor and Delivery Units:
Inova Alexandria Hospital - 4320 Seminary Rd, Alexandria, VA 22304 Inova Fairfax Medical Campus - 3300 Gallows Rd, Falls Church, VA 22042 Inova Fair Oaks Hospital - 3600 Joseph Siewick Dr, Fairfax, VA 22033 Inova Loudoun Hospital - 44045 Riverside Pkwy, Leesburg, VA 20176 Strong preference to candidates actively working in Labor and Delivery.
This wonderful opportunity offers an hourly wage of $85.
This is a full-time benefited position.
Team members will know their monthly schedule in advance.
Work site will be assigned on the day that you work.
Work schedule is full-time, night shift.

Provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team Consistently provides safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way Incorporates differences into the provision of care Conducts all patient care in a patient and family centered manner Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others Has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice Serves as a resource, preceptor, and mentor Demonstrates leadership skills in decision making and problem solving Reviews self-development plan and professional goals.
Seeks new knowledge toward the progression of professional goals Demonstrates evidence of self-development by obtaining a minimum of six formal contact hours Maintains own Employee Continuing Education Record Job Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years RN experience specific to the focus of the nursing specialty BSN or AD Required.
If RN has an associate degree, the RN must complete BSN within 24 months of start date RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN BLS certification required for all specialties and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification required for ED, PCU, ICU, L&D and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) PALS certification required for ED or Pediatrics and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) NRP certification required for NICU or L&D and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) CPI trained upon start preferred for BH RNs For internal use only:
