Healthcare Manager

The Assistant Healthcare Manager will assist the Healthcare manager in overseeing the patient companion team that includes two lead workers.
This position ensures that all services are provided in an efficient, safe, and customer-friendly manner.
The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring customer and client satisfaction.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
oActively assists in the recruitment and hiring processes to select the best candidates.
oFosters a supportive work environment that retains talented associates.
oManages time, attendance and payroll.
oResponds proactively to associate feedback and suggestions, including satisfaction surveys and exit interviews.
oEnsures that new employees are prepared through on-the-job training.
oConducts regular performance appraisals and provides feedback and coaching for all direct reports.
oAttends staff meetings for all accounts within their area of responsibility.
oEnsures that the guest/patient service experience is delivered consistently on all shifts.
oEfficiently allocates labor resources to support service delivery.
oIs knowledgeable of the client's service metrics/measurements and assists in driving results.
oMaintains strict confidentiality related to work information (in accordance with HIPAA).
oWorks with Human Resources to ensure that all client compliance requirements are met.
oPerforms other duties as assigned.

oAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications.
oAbility to compose business communications (reports, memos, letters, and e-mails).

oPassion for customer service and attention to detail.
Requirements:
oBachelor's degree from a 4-year college/ university preferred and a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
oPrevious experience in one or more of the areas in which the manager will supervise.
oAbility to work well under pressure.
oKnowledge of general business practices and customer service basics.
Physical Requirements:
oWillingness to work in the elements (heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
).
-Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use handsoMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to push and pull 75 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
oMust be able to push and pull (on wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds, frequently over considerable distances.
oAbility to work flexible schedules and extended hours is sometimes required.
