Entry Level IT Administrator Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level IT Administrator.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's computer systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
1.
Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting with system installations and upgrades.
2.
Assist in the configuration and maintenance of company devices including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
3.
Install and upgrade software applications and operating systems while ensuring compatibility and compliance with company policies and procedures.
4.
Collaborate with senior IT team members to implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus systems, and data backups.
5.
Respond to IT help requests promptly, accurately documenting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
6.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses, ensuring proper records and documentation for procurement and asset management purposes.
7.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of IT documentation, including user manuals, IT policies, and procedures, to provide end-users with clear instructions and guidelines.
8.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry, attending training sessions and acquiring knowledge to enhance technical skills.
9.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of IT systems and processes.
10.
Adhere to and promote company policies and procedures related to data privacy, information security, and ethical handling of confidential information.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are best suited.
Relevant experience and certifications will be considered in place of a degree.
2.
Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and hardware components.
3.
Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows and macOS.
4.
Proficiency in troubleshooting common software and hardware issues.
5.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support end-users with diverse technical backgrounds.
6.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
7.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8.
Self-motivated with a desire to learn and expand technical knowledge.
9.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
10.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours occasionally to perform system maintenance or respond to critical incidents.
