Since 1983, our company has provided equipment (hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, etc.
) to customers in the Washington, DC area and we pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have built within the community.
We are a close-knit team with average tenure of 6
years and look forward to adding the right person to our company.

Responsibilities Include:
-Respond to customer inquiries, both in the store and on the phone, with regard to appropriateness, availability, and coverage guidelines of equipment/supplies -Answer incoming phone calls and website inquiries promptly and courteously -Assist customers and referral sources in qualifying and collecting correct documentation to be able to bill supplies (when possible) to insurance -Greet walk-in customers promptly and courteously; assist them with equipment/supplies that are available to purchase in our store -Prepare and/or obtain appropriate documents associated with each customer order -Contact customers and/or representatives to review insurance policies and schedule delivery of equipment -Coordinate with dispatch and delivery technicians to schedule logical routes for delivery that take into account urgency of the delivery, hospital discharges, etc.
-Collect payment from customers and correctly apply to invoices -Use Brightree software to capture all patient information and interaction -Assist other staff members whenever possible -Perform any other duties that may, from time to time, be assigned by management
Qualifications:
-Willingness to learn and desire to help customers -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Excellent customer service focus, attitude, and interpersonal skills -Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team -High attention to detail -Comfortability working with basic computer programs including Microsoft Suite and Google -Flexibility in managing day-to-day tasks and unexpected changes Job Type:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
