Altamira Technologies is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to be responsible for providing direction for all competitive and sole source proposal efforts throughout the business, including responses to Requests for Information, white papers, quad charts, and other pre-RFP deliverablesThis critical role is accountable for leading, creating, and training proposal teams responsible for executing the business development strategy designed to capture and win highly competitive business within government, classified, and unclassified marketsPosition could be located in any of the following Altamira locations:
McLean, Va, Warrenton, VA, Augusta, GA, or Dayton, O HMust be able to travel to McLean, VA; Dayton, OH; and Tampa, FL from your current location as requiredThis position is in-office and not remote/teleworkThis position develops, plans, and executes all proposal development activitiesEngages all stakeholders and aligns team to execute under their functional responsibilities to meet customer requirementsEnsures effective and comprehensive proposal readiness, including executing pre-proposal efforts that effectively transition to the win strategy effortsSupports writing and reviewing proposal sections throughout the proposal development process to ensure that the proposal is compliant with solicitation requirements and meets/exceeds the evaluation criteriaIn close partnership with the Capture Manager ensures timely, effective proposal kickoffs, team standup meetings, and color team reviews, peer reviews, and leadership reviewsFunctions as Proposal Manager, lead editor, desktop publisher and people manager for a team of proposal professionalsPrimary
Responsibilities:
Makes improvements to proposal management processes, systems, or products to enhance performanceRecognizes, identifies, and mitigates proposal development risks and issuesPrioritizes issues and solves them drawing from prior experience and analysis of issuesResponsible for reporting, sharing lessons learned, and recommending process improvements to leadership and teamOversees all aspects of the proposal development process (e.
g.
, proposal writing, editing, illustration, production efforts) from receipt of the DRFP/RFP, through delivery to the customerDevelops proposal volume outlines, compliance matrices, proposal development schedule, and volume templatesTracks proposal action items and milestone dates and manages all online proposal filesProvides proposal guidance, coaching, and training to other employeesAssists other proposal team members in reviewing outlines/compliance matrices, schedule development, proposal development process questions, and in-process/rolling reviewsProactively communicates, collaborates, and coordinates with key individuals and leaders including but not limited to Finance, Contracts, and Pricing, Human Resources, and senior managementEnsures all parties are well informed, understand their roles and responsibilities, and, most importantly, perform to the expectations setManages the proposal team and development process by recognizing and encouraging extraordinary work, mitigating and correcting the less than satisfactory work, and quickly reporting, recommending, and implementing corrective actionsRequired Qualifications:

years of effective record of accomplishment in creating and delivering winning Federal Government proposals, especially with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community agencieso Progressive hands-on and/or management experience with proposal development, technical writing, editing, and publishingo Proven experience in reading and analyzing RFPs, creating tailored proposal outlines/schedules, managing team activities, managing and evaluating content and pricing development, and re-writing material under tight deadlineso Strong proposal management, planning, and verbal and written communication skillso Demonstrated ability to direct and orchestrate collaboratively across a large and distributed business, managing diverse tasks, requirements, and commitmentso Able to motivate and energize a team of cross-functional pursuit team members to develop winning solutionso Responds efficiently/effectively to time-critical requirements with exceptional results; record of successfully interfacing with Business Development disciplines and varied levels of leadershipo Exceptional verbal and written communication skillso Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excelo Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeo Current TS/SCI CI Poly clearance is REQUIRED.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
