Overview As a Knowledge Man a ger you will develop and implement strategies for capturing, organizing, and disseminating information and knowledge - internal to our delivery organization and with our customers You will encourage correct and widespread usage of Steampunk 's knowledge base in support of our customers You will create guidelines for what information is captured, who captures it , how it integrates with the rest of our customer's tech stack, and how the team will keep it from growing stale Most critically, y ou will promote a culture of knowledge sharing and understanding An ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment and have a background in leading content and information architecture across an organizationContributionso Build, manage, and set the direction of the Knowledge Management (KM) Framework.
o Create, capture, organize, and assess knowledge assets for our delivery team and our customers.
o Coordinate with cross-functional organizations to align KM strategy with broader organizational learning strategies.
o Promote the use of knowledge management tooling and processes to facilitate sharing of knowledge.
o Build and drive the culture of knowledge sharing within site operations and serve as the advocate for KM initiatives within site operations.
o Support the development and implementation of training on KM processes and tooling.
o Create and review KPIs for adoption, usage of premier ( high-value , frequently used) KM content, and summarize benefits, outcomes, and improvement opportunities for our delivery team and our customers.
o Assist with resource planning as applicable to strengthen and expand KM initiatives.
o Evaluate, revise, and continuously improve the KM Framework workflow and procedures as the organization scales.
o Be the thought leader on KM Framework implementation.
o Understand and recognize key challenges/roadblocks to KM cultural change and develop effective programs to drive adoption and improve KM value.
o Bring relevant industry insights to incorporate into the KM Framework.
o Identify and evangelize success stories from the KM ProgramQualificationso U.
SCitizeno Bachelor's degree in Information Systems , Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines.
o 6
years of current proven experience in implementing KM strategies.
o Experience in building KM programs in the technology industry or within technical groups within a large.
o Experience communicating with and influencing senior leadership as well as framing discussions to gain valuable feedback and experience.
