- Assist veterinarians in providing care to animals in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting - Perform various medical procedures under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian - Administer medications and treatments to animals as directed by the veterinarian - Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures - Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis, and analyze results - Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans Skills:
- Pet handling:
Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs AND cats of all sizes and temperaments Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or skills required for the position.
