Workforce and Production Planning achieving labor cost goals Management of production, teams, job sites, equipment, and materials Occasional hands-on production work in the field doing multiple lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, mulching, edging, blowing, pruning, bed maintenance, etc.
Prepares and makes sure that all equipment and materials and job details are ready before the day begins for each team Collaborates and works with other staff to ensure customer, employees, and job site needs and quality are met, including property inspections as needed Supports the achieving of the profitability objectives including assisting with sales and client management.
Training of team personnel and employee development Creates systems and processes to increase efficiency Hiring and on-boarding new employees with assistance from HR and office support Establishing and promoting positive relationships with local vendors, service partners, and the general public locally Participates in sharing of best-practices with other Managers and key-personnel throughout the company as well as participates in meetings as needed in person or remotely Assists with work during Ice and snow events Accurate submission of all required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
Collaborates and assists the shop mechanic and other vendors to ensure smooth operation of vehicles and equipment.
Monitors repairs Manages Safety Records and Safety compliance of teams and other staff ensuring all incidents, accidents, and injuries are reported promptly Requirements include HS Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license and ability to be insured on the company policy, 2 years in Field Operations Role with Green/Lawn industry Experience or similar experience in a comparable industry.
You must be very tech savvy with great communication skills.
You will also need excellent staff management, quality control, and customer service skills.
In addition, you must be able to lift 50 lbs.
alone and be able to work flexible hours including Saturday work if necessary, and any shift during a snow or ice event.
You must also be fluent in English - all aspects.

If you have a Certified Pesticide Applicators License, that is a bonus! 3 years of professional level landscape and lawn business experience in the residential and commercial maintenance industry, snow and ice control industry, as well as extensive knowledge of all best practices for materials, methods, tools, and equipment required for performing various lawn maintenance tasks.
