Description MuleSoft Architect Description Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a MuleSoft Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individualsThis position will be located in Herndon, VAThe qualified applicant will become part of Buchanan & Edwards Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA)This initiative will modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA's customersRoles and
Responsibilities:
o Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging MuleSoft technologies that drive increased business value.
o Work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect MuleSoft technology solutions to meet requirements.
o Identify and proactively manage risk areas with the platform and ensure that solutions are compliant with customer policies and regulations.
o Oversee the technical quality of the integration solutions and ensure that they are operationalized effectively.
o Define integration standards and patterns for MuleSoft technology solutions.
o Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications.
o Design Mule applications for AnyPoint Platform following a hybrid deployment architecture.
o Provide program-level leadership and guidance for AnyPoint Platform and MuleSoft technology solutions.
o Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the MuleSoft Platform.
o Develop and communicate MuleSoft Platform and technology roadmap across CSM ProgramQualifications Basic
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 8-10 years' of experience or Master's Degree and 6-8 years' of experience or high school diploma and minimum of 12 years relevant experience.
o 5
years of hands-on implementation experience designing sound and scalable technical solutions on the MuleSoft platform that meet end-to-end integration requirements.
o 3
years of experience in an architect role on large scale MuleSoft implementations.
o Experience working in an Agile development environment with multiple modern programming languages (e.
gJava, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.
)o Knowledge and experience with different MuleSoft offerings.
o Experience with AnyPoint Platform, Flow Design, API DesignDataWave, Cloud Hub, Runtime Fabric, API Management, Salesforce Integration.
o Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and capabilities to designing and implementing a project's technical architecture.
o Demonstrate an understanding of and ability to architect solutions to address security complexities, mechanisms, and data integration capabilities on the Salesforce platform.
o Experience presenting and effectively communicating technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, including limitations and design tradeoffs, from inception through successful implementation.
o Must have a current, active Secret (or higher) clearanceInterim clearance acceptablePreferred
Qualifications:
o Hands-on, full life cycle MuleSoft implementation experience.
o Experience working within a Scaled Agile framework.
o MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect - Level 1.
o MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1.
o Experience with design patterns used with MuleSoft integrations and Salesforce.
o Experience designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs.
