Datastrong LLC seeks Technical Architect in Fairfax, VA:
JOB DUTIES: Oversee the design and development of reporting and analytic solutions for clients using specific technical expertise (to include tools such as Microstrategy and ETL technologies) in the areas of business intelligence, data warehousing, and data integration. Oversee reporting tool and data integration application development, IT infrastructure planning, and system integration activities. Focus on the delivery of engagement results to the client. Coordinate with consultants involved in a specific project phase. Work in a team environment. Employee will work in Fairfax, VA and any other unanticipated location(s) in the U.S.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering or closely related discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering, or a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering or closely related discipline, and five (5) years of progressive experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Experience must include the following: Data warehousing fundamentals; data modeling; database administration and tuning; Data movement/ETL technologies (such as SSIS Informatica, IBM Websphere, Ab Initio); SQL; Microstrategy Product Suite; requirement analysis and facilitation of JAD sessions; Business Process and source to target mapping; test planning and execution; delivery of end user training. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Employee will work in Fairfax, VA and any other unanticipated location(s) in the U.S.
