Customer Support Assistant
As the sales support and service position at the Equity Residential apartment community, the Customer Support Assistant will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the property management leasing cycle including sales and marketing, customer service and lease administration. The Customer Support Assistant plays a key role in helping the community achieve very satisfied residents through customer service efforts that enhance our resident relations. He/she will provide sales support to the leasing team and assist the property manager as necessary to ensure the property can maintain a sales focus and achieve its occupancy and revenue goals. The Customer Support Assistant's success will depend on their ability to learn from others, take initiative, and work in a team environment to achieve goals. Availability to work weekends. High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one-year sales/customer service experience is preferred or college coursework or college degree preferred. Basic typing/word processing skills required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
