CACI is looking for a Senior Principal Software Developer to support development activities on projects for the DIA in Reston. The successful candidate will be an excellent Java developer with the ability to operate with minimal oversight and lead others.
Required Skills:
Lead programmer experience with Java systems in both development and production environments
Experience developing web applications and demonstrable knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS
Expert knowledge of Object Oriented design and computer science fundamentals
Preferred Skills:
Broad knowledge of databases and SQL (MongoDB, Cloudera/Hadoop, Kafka)
Project experience with Agile-based workflow methodologies
Experience with EJB, JDBC, JSP, Struts Framework.
Experience in DHTML, XML, XSL, XSLT
Experience with Web Service development.
Position Requirements:
Must have a Computer Science (or technical equivalent) degree
Must have either an MS plus 10 years of experience or BS plus 12 years of experience
Experience as a lead software developer formulating software architecture, performing requirements analysis, and leading execution of SDLC process
Exceptional understanding of design and architectural patterns, the wider Java eco-system, unit testing, and build automation
Must have experience leading other software developers
Possess strong technical written and verbal communication skills
Security Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (DIA preferred)
