SUMMARY
The Analytics Manager will lead in identifying and providing analysis to drive and optimize marketing and merchandising strategy. The position requires expertise in measurement, analysis & execution of sophisticated marketing / merchandising campaigns through direct mail, email, ecommerce & non-targeted media channels.
The role needs to have ability to leverage data to spot patterns, trends, and communicate findings clearly with stake holders. The person will manage end-to-end analytics process from formulating the problem to extracting data, analyzing information, presenting insights and working with stakeholders to implement analytic recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead analytical projects in the areas of
Customer/Product Segmentation
Pricing, Profitability/ROI, Affinity,
Catalog Square Inch Analysis,
Forecasting
Develop recommendations to improve marketing/merchandising profitability and effectiveness
Establish partnerships with Marketing, Merchandising & Ecommerce in an effort to influence decision making
Provide insights based on data, testing and customer/SKU analysis for maximum impact
Execute sophisticated A/B and multivariate tests to optimize the customer experience and maximize sales
Build Regression and Multivariate Models based on internal and externally overlaid variables for targeting promotions
Report on and analyze promotions, pricing and media in order to optimize performance of campaigns
Improve analytical processes to maximize efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
Hands-on experience with
Pricing, Affinity, Association,
A/B and multivariate tests
Modeling, segmentation of customers and products,
Predictive / descriptive analytics, and applied statistics.
6
years' experience in a marketing/merchandising analysis function
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree with focus on applied statistics
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Expertise with analytic tools such as: SAS, SPSS
Advanced Excel and SQL skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
Hands-on knowledge of Big Data tolls and processes
Experience with Web Analytics tools such as Omniture, Coremetrics
LI-JS1Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
