Junior Java Developer - Fairfax, VA Junior Java Developer CGI is looking for Java/J2EE Developers to join our Federal Business Unit in our Fairfax, VA office . The successful candidate will support various projects with the EPA and work on a large team supporting an extensive web services platform. The ideal candidate will have the following: Experience in developing J2EE web applications and interoperable web services. Experience in developing SOAP web services for client consumption Experience full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience Experience developing and managing deployment life-cycles using CVS, Maven, and Continuous Integration environments Experience developing applications that utilize XML and related technologies Experience with Enterprise Patterns and practices and ability to utilize frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring, Aspect Oriented Programming, Dependency Injection, MVC, Struts 1/2, and Stripes. Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage in a self-directed fashion Experience developing in the J2EE platform , Web Services/SOAP, Object Oriented design experience, XML Experience with any of the following technologies: JDK 1.5+, Hibernate, Spring, Struts1/2 or Stripes, WSDL, AOP, Dependency Injection, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, Apache CXF, Oracle, Jboss, WebLogic At CGI, we're a team of builders. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
