Contracts Manager - Commercial and State/Local Government CGI is seeking a Contract Management professional with 10
years contract negotiation experience and experience representing clients in the information technology industry (for products and services), in support of state and local government and commercial customers. Principal Duties and
Responsibilities: Lead contract negotiations for complex IT contracts for State and Local government and commercial entities; Responsible for opportunity and contract review, risk assessment and drafting contract changes for and during negotiations. Assist internal clients in developing negotiation and risk mitigation strategies as part of proposal preparation and contract execution for complex IT contracts; and Maintain close working relationships with sales and delivery managers as well as internal legal counsel and other internal core services groups necessary to achieve comprehensive review and risk assessment (security, tax, insurance, etc.) Required Knowledge and Skills: Solid working knowledge of commercial and public sector contracting practices in the IT industry (e.g., software licensing, intellectual property rights, acceptance, warranties, liabilities, indemnifications, remedies); Ability to lead a negotiation, with understanding of how to bargain over key terms to come to a mutually acceptable contract in a way that will not alienate customers; Ability to work through business issues as well as legal issues;Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
