Junior ETL/Data Warehouse Developer We have an immediate need to hire a Junior level ETL/Datawarehouse Developer, for our team in Fairfax, Virginia. This is a full time position with salary, benefits, 401k, paid vacation. In this role you will assist with analysis and troubleshooting for maintenance and support of daily production activities, as well as analysis, design and development for small to large scale application enhancements and upgrade work. You will also create analysis and design documentation and interact effectively with functional and other technical application team members. In order to be successful, you must be able to adapt in a dynamic environment as well as having the ability to identify and escalate risks when appropriate. There will be occasions where extended and/or off-hours support will be required to resolve high priority issues or support upgrade efforts. Essential Skills Required: - Minimum 2 years of related work experience - Experience with MS SQL or PL/SQL - Data Warehouse and/or Reporting experience - Strong analytical skills Desired Skills: - XML/XSL - XHTML and HTML - JSP and JSF - SOA and Web Services - Solaris or similar UNIX operating system - Java/J2EE Required HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGES: - SQL and Oracle Procedure Language - Data Warehouse and/or Reporting (Star/Dimensional data model) - Java/J2EE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS BS degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline and 2 years of related work experience.
