CDM Smith's Program/Construction/Emergency Management Group is seeking a fulltime Emergency and Disaster Recovery Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a focus in HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and CDBG Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) programs. As a fulltime Emergency and Disaster Recovery SME, you will support the growth of CDM Smith's Emergency and Disaster Recovery services and be responsible for:
Developing a business strategy/business plan for growth in the CDBG-DR market
Initiating and maintaining relationships with CDBG-DR funding recipients and potential recipients
Supporting the direct marketing and proposal development for CDBG-DR activities
Working effectively with client sales leaders, technical strategy leaders, and project managers to position, secure, and deliver quality projects
Supporting project execution of HUD CDBG and HUD CDBG-DR funded programs to clients nationwide
Assisting clients with strategizing on the approach and best practices to meet their recovery goals and creating funding action plans
Advising staff and project managers on unique program challenges and solutions relative to the use of CDBG-DR funding
Responsible for mentoring and staff development including thorough high quality performance appraisals
Contributing to the firm's stature by actively participating in leadership roles in the community and/or relevant industry organizations
Support other emergency and disaster management initiatives with federal and municipal clients
Ability to deploy nationally and internationally in support of post disaster response and recovery activitiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
