Role
Summary:
The Mobile Engineer will work within our Engineering team in our Fairfax, VA office to deliver frameworks and apps for Android. These applications will support biometric capture using the phone's cameras and microphones, interface with onboard security capabilities, leverage GPS capabilities, and communicate with a server using web services over a secure channel. The Mobile Engineer is expected to have experience developing enterprise applications on the Android operating platform, possess the flexibility and desire to learn new technologies, have strong knowledge of app deployment capabilities, and can demonstrate solid UI/UX design.

Responsibilities:
Deliver on assigned software design, development, testing, and documentation tasks;
Work closely with a team to integrate designs, components, and ideas together;
Strive to improve capabilities, pick up new technology and programming languages, look to add value;
Introduce best practices and new solutions to improve speed, usability, and performance.
Person Specification:
The drive to deliver quality products in a timely manner;
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Qualifications:
8
years of Software Engineering experience with a product focus;
B.S. in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
2
years developing applications using the Android platform.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented concepts.
Experience with Web Services is a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
