Duties:
Perform biostatistical analysis on sequence and microarray data. Work with intramural principal investigators and researchers on principal investigator-defined research projects. Apply strong statistical methods to analyze large amounts of molecular biological human disease-related data. Create summary slides, figures, and documentation to describe results and conclusions. Use technical discretion within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for determining approaches or obtaining solutions. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or 1 year of work experience in a statistics-related occupation.
Experience must include: 1) Creating and applying appropriate statistical analyses of large molecular biological datasets; 2) JMP, SAS, R, MATLAB; 3) Adapting and implementing defined statistical methods
Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
