Key
Responsibilities:
As a member of the windows server administration team within the Mission Systems Information Technology (IT) organization, the Windows & Citrix administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Citrix infrastructure servers, as well as virtual machines hosted in the environment. This role works closely with application owners and desktop administrators to ensure timely deployment and high availability of applications and virtual desktops, as well as with the Windows server teams to optimize the performance of applications and virtual desktops within the infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
o Performs Windows Server administration including Server 2003, 2008 and 2012 Operating Systems
o Performs administration of a Citrix environment which includes XenApp, XenDesktop, XenClient, Workspace Suite, and other Citrix technologies
o Performs OS level administration of Windows-based systems in support of the virtual environment
o Configures, maintains and troubleshoots the following products and their associated servers:
o XenApp
o XenDesktop
o XenClient
o Workspace Suite
o Configures, maintains and troubleshoots client operating system hosted within the cloud including: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server (2008-2012)
o Optimizes client OS configurations for best performance when virtualized
o Troubleshoots VM performance in the context of the virtual environment
o Creates, maintains and follows a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan
o Maintains and troubleshoots physical hardware including Dell and Cisco servers, both rack mounted and blade.
o Creates scripts to automate repetitive processes
o Works with customers to identify, isolate, and resolve problems with VMs
o Performs administration of virtual desktops using Citrix tools.
o Performs analysis and logging of Splunk alerts
o Monitors system and VM performance using Solarwinds
o Performs periodic patching of servers based on approved patch sets
o Performs data isolation and destruction in the event that sensitive data is allowed outside of its proper enclave (data spill).
Candidates must demonstrate passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of technological systems and programming, and the ability to further advance technology.
The Senior Information Technology Specialist position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent and two to five years of related experience, or a Master's degree with zero to two years of related experience.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
