The ideal individual would have 5
years of experience in the design and construction / Installation of security systems specifically for federal government facilities under Department of Defense control. This includes the design and construction / installation of systems that meet ICD-705, DCID6/9, JAFAN 6/9 and NISPOM closed area specifications utilizing access control, CCTV systems, key management systems, and cipher locks.
The Project Security Engineer will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance and direction for all new construction and facility renovations on project sites nationally. Must have the abilities to design physical security controls / systems to restrict access to sensitive facility locations under DOD, ITAR controls while maintaining overall facility access to general business units.
Candidates must have the abilities to read and understand architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings develop scopes of work and project specifications that meet internal requirements, as well as, represent the facilities development department on security issues in the coordination of outside consultants, contractors and engineers to assure project security goals and requirements are met.
Requires a Bachelors Degree In Engineering, Telecommunications or related discipline. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Candidates must be able to pass Federal Background Check and Obtain DOD Secret Clearance. Travel is required nationally 20% of the time. Employer will cover relocation costs as necessary.
