Personnel Office Assistant


The Personnel Office Assistant s primary duties are as follows:

  • Provide administrative support to the personnel team;
  • Maintaining and updating various spreadsheets and databases;
  • Creating and maintaining various reports for the Office of the Provost;
  • General office tasks including filing, copying, scanning, faxing, maintaining personnel records, etc.; and
  • Imaging and indexing confidential personnel credential documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; and
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate s degree or higher;
  • Experience working in an office setting;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint;
  • Knowledge of Ellucian Banner; and
  • Experience using EMC ApplicationXtender Web Access or similar indexing software systems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
