RoleTaking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolutionResearching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issuesFollowing standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teamsDiagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configurationAsk customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problemTrack computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limitsTalk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they've solved a technical issueProperly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (eg software developers)Requirements5
years of IT experience including IT services and support3-5
years of Windows Server administration2
years of Citrix / VMware / Microsoft virtualization experienceKnowledge of network architectures and data communication protocols including:
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCPBasic understanding of Firewall, VPN configuration, and switchingIndustry Relevant Certification (MCITP, MCP, CCA) or ability to achieve one within 90 daysStrong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize simultaneous high visibility customer escalationsExperience with Citrix Administration, Xendesktop, XenApp nice to haveLength:
6 Month Contract to Hire Pay Rate:
