Our Inova Central Lab is seeking Full-Time Day Shift Immunohistochem Program SpecialistSome of the duties include:
Responsible for the coordination of immunohistochemistry and molecular technical operations for the Inova Central Laboratory services.
Performs a wide range of moderate to complex technical activities related to the production of high quality, high volume testing Uses considerable independent judgment in decisions that influence the specific service technical operations Assures that policies, procedures and regulations are adhered to in all Inova Health Systems locations in the conduct of laboratory testing for medical staff and patients.
Promotes the Inova Central Laboratory and its services within the mission of the Inova Health System assuring exceptional quality health care services that assures value to patients, employer clients and Inova Health System.

Experience:
3-4 years technical and clinical familiarity of Immunohistochemistey,histotechnology and molecular applications.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, Histotechnology, Cytotechnology or related fieldCertification:
Histotechnician level HT ASCP or Medical Technologist level MT ASCPSpecial Skills:
Ability to work with more complex special procedures with an understanding of emerging technologies and methodologies.
Technology and Problem Solving.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
