Job Description

Provides high quality helpdesk support and customer service for loan origination systems of the mortgage company in multiple business locations.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Represents support team in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt, efficient and accurate helpdesk support for all LOS operations.
  • Utilizes helpdesk ticketing system to track and support end user community.
  • Provides online, phone, and desk side user support as needed.
  • Correctly escalates support tickets as necessary.
  • Assists system administrators on system software projects as assigned.
  • Stays advised and fully versed in all system changes and updates.
  • Stays advised of new developments in mortgage procedures.
  • Responsible for complying with the various rules, regulations, policies and ethical standards governing the financial services industry including compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


  • Knowledge at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in order to acquire the technical background necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • One to three years related experience desired.
  • May require experience on specific systems.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Working knowledge of Mortgage Banking including processes and departmental relationships, terms, and documents.
  • Strong information technology skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to document assistance and change requests related to LOS.
  • Ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal media.
  • Ability to function as an effective team member.
  • Ability to quickly learn and disseminate new system information.


ROUTINE DECISIONS AND FORMAL POLICY SETTING


  • Determines answer or escalate issues related to LOS support.
  • Formally responsible for providing input into policies associated with the job's purpose and essential responsibilities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
