The Engineering Services team provides in-depth power systems analysis, design, and project management in order to ensure that our customers' power systems operate safety, reliably, sustainably, and economically.
Job Description and Duties:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of engineering project execution, ensuring a smooth transition from the sales and development effort to the design phase, continuing to the installation and on-going service phases of the completed project within the established project management framework.
This includes, but is not limited to, advising and assisting the Business Development Manager(s) and Project Engineers(s) in estimating and managing the project, conferring with engineering personnel on technical information, procuring and managing outside contractors, scheduling project phases and managing project deliverables.
The Technical Project Manager manages all aspects of project budgets including project change orders, revenue projections, customer billings, and quarterly updates.
This individual acts as the primary point of contact for all internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, subcontractors, and the end client to coordinate all aspects of project delivery.
Additionally, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for development of project objectives and the project management plan to achieve those objectives.
The Project Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational factors that influence project success.
The Project Manager must be an excellent communicator, train less experienced staff, proactive, a strong leader, able to drive customer value in the midst of continuous change, and able to adapt to a dynamic and geographically dispersed engineering staff.

Qualifications:

years of experience in a project related technical fieldDirect PM experience leading projects; accountable for cost, schedule, qualityProficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, MS Visio, MS ExcelPreferred

BS or MS in an engineering disciplineTraining and supervision experienceDemonstrated ability to manage projects from development to project closureDemonstrated ability to manage project budgets and project schedules, properly document projects, and work well with customers to achieve customer satisfaction on every jobCompetencies:
